2025 saw the establishment of our school’s first Student Council. The council provides students with
a structure to voice their opinions, discuss issues and organise events and activities for the whole
school.

Elections were held on February 14th and there was huge interest from pupils to run for a seat on the
council which made for great excitement with recounts!

The members of our first student council are Sinead Considine (Chairperson), Arwen Gavin
(Secretary), Robin O’Gorman (Treasurer), Aaron Scanlan, Jamie Sugrue, Eanna Clohessy, Avory Gavin,
Davea Sammon, Oisin McDonagh, Cayla Foley.

Pupil gain experience in making agendas, taking minutes, voting on suggested activities, advertising
events, listening to all the student body and organising events/activities.
